NCP® introduces RoHs-compliant products
NCP® range of memory modules for desktop PCs and notebooks are now fully RoHs-compliant
Singapore, July 1, 2006 – Hexon Technology Pte Ltd, Singapore's leading manufacturer of the NCP® range of memory modules, today announced that all Lead(PB)-Free NCP memory modules are in compliance with the European Union's Restriction on the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances (RoHS), which restricts the use of harmful substances such as lead in new equipment.

Hexon successfully collaborated with its suppliers to comply with the European Union Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment ("RoHS") Directive (2002/95/EC) that takes effect on July 1, 2006 . The RoHS directive prohibits the sale of electronic equipment containing certain hazardous substances such as lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls ("PBB") and polybrominated diphenylethers ("PBDE") in the European Union. |
