Product Comparison on Aeneon DDR2-667MHZ

PC-Magazine (Singapore) recently conducted a DDR2 Mini-Showdown in December 2005. AENEON DDR2-667MHz was included in the line up against other established brands such as Transcend, NCP, Corsair and GEIL. Results were published in PC-Magazine January 2006 edition, pages 56 to 61.

A pair of Aeneon 512MB DDR2 667 memory was tested on a common test machine which is running on a 3.73 GHz Pentium 4 Processor (with HT) on a MSI 955X Platinum mainboard and Maxtor 40GB harddisk. Aeneon memory managed to score 3593 points for FutureMark PCMark 2005 overall system and 4693 points for the memory tests which is consider high on the performance measurement.

Aeneon DDR2 scored high marks in Future Mark's PCMark 2005 as well as in SiSoft Sandra 2005 program which measure the DDR2 memory bandwidth.
