NCP SO-DIMM modules are designed for laptop and notebook systems that have restrictions in terms of space and heat dissipation. All modules are manufactured and tested under stringent conditions to ensure the level of reliability that is expected of today's notebooks.

We test our SO-DIMM on system motherboard and with the application software and server operating system most commonly used in the system. Burn-in hexon_tech on system is conducted during qualifications of each new product to ensure every design is able to deliver the performance and reliability expected. Independent benchmark tests, such as Winstone, are used to thoroughly test the system.

SODIMM DDR Module

Introduction

DDR (Double Data Rate) SDRAM memory is an evolutionary product built upon the foundation of older PC100/133 memory technology. DDR SDRAM memory can do two operations per clock cycle, thereby doubling the memory bandwidth over the corresponding single-data-rate SDRAM. DDR memory delivers increased memory bandwidth and performance over SDRAM memory for many business, multimedia and entertainment applications.

Hexon's standard 200 pin small outline DDR Dual In-Line Memory Modules (Sodimms) are currently used in a wide variety of portable computers. Sodimm capacities range from 128MB to 2GB. Hexon manufactures SODIMM upgrades for various laptop systems such as ACER, Fujitsu, NEC, Gateway, IBM and others.
