SODIMM DDR Module
Introduction
DDR (Double Data Rate) SDRAM memory is an evolutionary product built
upon the foundation of older PC100/133 memory technology. DDR SDRAM
memory can do two operations per clock cycle, thereby doubling the
memory bandwidth over the corresponding single-data-rate SDRAM. DDR
memory delivers increased memory bandwidth and performance over SDRAM
memory for many business, multimedia and entertainment applications.
Hexon's standard 200 pin small outline DDR
Dual In-Line Memory Modules (Sodimms) are currently used in a wide
variety of portable computers. Sodimm capacities range from 128MB
to 2GB. Hexon manufactures SODIMM upgrades for various laptop systems
such as ACER, Fujitsu, NEC, Gateway, IBM and others.
