Warranty

- Hexon Limited Warranty Statement

HEXON Technology Pte. Ltd. (“HEXON”) warrants that all NCP ® branded RAM module Products (to be known as “Product” ), shall be free from material defects and workmanship for the Warranty Period indicated below. This warranty does not cover any damages that arise from accident, abuse, misuse, natural or personal disaster, or any unauthorized disassembly, repair, or modification.

This is applicable only to products sold as new.

Subject to the preceding limitations, the sole and exclusive warranty will be limited to the repair or replacement of the Product, equivalent in configuration or current market value, with remedy and value to be determined solely by HEXON .

HEXON will at its option, either repair or replace any part of its product(s) that prove defective by reason of improper workmanship or materials. The warranty covers all parts and labor cost to repair/replace the faulty product.

HEXON will not provide credit note to customers for warranty claims, but will provide replacement or repairs.

 Please note that warranty is not transferable.

The warranty policy listed on Hexon web-site shall supercede all other warranties and representations, whether oral or written.

 Hexon reserves the rights to change the terms and conditions in this warranty policy without notifications.

- Duration of Warranty

LifeTime Limited Warranty: All NCP and ATP memory modules are covered by this warranty for lifetime from the date of purchase: memory modules including SDRAM, DDR SDRAM, RDRAM, DDR2, SODIMM and ECC REGISTERED SDRAM.

Three-Year Warranty:
The following Infineon/ Elpida products are covered by this warranty for a period of three years from the date of purchase: memory modules including SDRAM, DDR SDRAM, RDRAM, DDR2, SODIMM and ECC REGISTERED SDRAM.

One-Year Warranty: All HTL memory modules are covered by this warranty for a period of one year from the date of purchase: memory modules including SDRAM, DDR SDRAM, RDRAM, DDR2, SODIMM and ECC REGISTERED SDRAM.

This warranty covers only repair or replacement of defective Hexon products, as provided above. Hexon is not liable for any other damages and 3rd party losses.


- Warranty Claim Procedures and Requirements

To obtain warranty service, please contact the local authorised NCP dealer or distributor from which you purchased the NCP product.

For any Warranty claims from Hexon office:
Download a Return Material Request (RMR) form ( http://www.hexon.com.sg/hexon_tech/rma.htm ) or from Appendix A , and complete all required entries in the form.

Information required are:
a) Specific reason for return
b) Invoice /or Sales Order Number
c) full HEXON part number and NC Label number (Must match what is actually returned)
d) Quantity (Must match what is actually returned)
e) When more than one type of product is returned, the products must be segregated by product type.

Once the RMR is completed, send the form by email to rma@hexon.com.sg to HEXON , to obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number.

If HEXON deems that the Product may be defective in material or workmanship, a RMA number shall be issued to you, which permits the products to be returned and received by HEXON . Authorized returns shall be returned within 14 calendar days of receipt of the RMA number or it will be cancelled.

The RMA number must be written on the outside packing container. If you send your products to us without the RMA number displayed on the outside of the package, it will be returned to you unopened.

While sending a defective product to HEXON , it is required that customers provide prepaid freight and insurance. Shipped products must be properly packaged to prevent damage during transit. You must also include proof of the date of original purchase as evidence.

The one way freightage means that when a customer is shipping the goods by ex-warehouse or C&F then HEXON will return the goods in the same condition.

- Limitation of Liability

HEXON will have no liability for the Product returned if HEXON determines that the claimed defect is either

• Not present
• Caused by either

• Mishandling during shipment.
• Usage with unlicensed software.
• Abuse, misuse, neglect, repair or modification by users.
• Not following instructions in user's manual correctly.
• Any unauthorized tampering.
• Usage with other 3 rd Party products or components.
• No Warranty Label/Barcode Label.
• Tampered, damaged or incorrect Warranty Label

HEXON will not repair or exchange any product that has a "limited lifetime" which fails solely because its estimated life has expired.

HEXON will not repair or exchange any products that have been declared by HEXON as obsolete. However, HEXON will not obsolete any of its products, as long as there are component materials available in the marketplace and reasonable customer demand for the products.

 HEXON shall in no event be liable to buyers or any third parties for any consequential, indirect or incidental damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of business investment, loss of data, loss of goodwill, and/or interference with business relationships, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

HEXON shall not be liable in the event that its products cause any damage or failure to other equipment.
