Hexon Technology & MemoRight announces the introduction of MemoRight Industrial Grade rSSD

SHENZHEN, China, 25 March 2009 – MemoRight has announced today that it is introducing an Industrial grade rSSD, which will be exclusively distributed in Singapore by Hexon Technology Pte Ltd.

The MemoRight rSSD is designed especially for the Industrial grade market, which needs extended operating temperature ranges from -40 ° C to +85 ° C. MemoRight's Industrial rSSD satisfies all military standards under the "MIL-STD-810F", which is the test method standard approved for use by all Departments and Agencies of the US Department of Defense (DoD). MemoRight expects the military, defense, aviation & astronautics industries as being early adopters & key users of their new SSD.

MemoRight rSSD also features MemoRight’s proprietary, unique “In-Drive” UPS, which ensures 100% data integrity at all times. The capacitor simply flushes the cache upon experiencing any power-off or voltage changes & writes this data to the flash.

The new rSSD has Secure Erase Function--Extremely fast "secure erase" functionality which allows the user to erase data completely at speeds of 2GB/s.

The new rSSD performs at 120MB/s Read & 120MB/s Write speeds, with 0.1ms Access Time. It will be available in 16GB, 32GB, 64GB & 128GB capacities, with a choice of SATA II or IDE interfaces. Like the MemoRight GT Series eSSD, this rSSD will be manufactured in 2.5” form factor, with an optional 3.5” casing.
